We are looking for a talented Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our creative team and bring MCCGC’s stories, services and community impact to life.

Who are we?

Established in 1983 as a key service provider to the increasing migrant, refugee and current international arrivals population of the Gold Coast, Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast Ltd (MCCGC) is the peak regional organisation serving the needs of multicultural residents.

With more than 40 years’ experience, MCCGC is well known and regarded for its role in helping people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds connect with the local community and have equal access to appropriate health and well-being services.

We provide services to mainstream and CALD communities across the Aged, Disability and Community service sectors.

About the Role Bring MCCGC's story to life! As our Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will create engaging content, support digital campaigns and help connect multicultural communities with services that make a real difference. Reporting to the Communications Team Lead, you will work across graphic design, social media, video editing,



website updates, campaigns, events and stakeholder communications.

What You Will Do

- Create engaging content across social media posts, graphics, videos, storytelling initiatives, EDM and website updates.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, service promotions and community events.
- Support the delivery of MCCGC and Cura Aged Care’s marketing and communications activities.
- Keep MCCGC and Cura Aged Care’s digital presence fresh, including organisational websites, Google Business listings, and online directories.
- Support SEO, email marketing, Google Analytics reporting, and digital engagement activities. Providing insights and reports on campaign performance.
- Coordinate promotional materials, internal communications and SharePoint content updates.
- Coordinate and support Marketing & Communications volunteers.
- Build positive relationships across MCCGC and the community.
- Proactively manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines, using strong organisational skills and initiative to keep work moving forward and delivering results on time.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, Communications, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing, or graphic design role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva is essential.




- Experience editing videos (CapCut or Premiere).
- Knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, SharePoint).
- Understanding of social media platforms and paid campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn).
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and proofreading skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and initiative.
- Current National Police Certificate Working with Children Check (QLD)
