Sushi Sushi, Australia's largest sushi brand, and an AFR Best Place to Work have an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded Marketing Coordinator to join our fantastic team!

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with the broader Marketing team, corporate Store Managers and Franchise Partners to coordinate campaigns, new store openings, digital activity and local initiatives.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating campaigns, working with stores and Franchise Partners, and bringing local marketing initiatives to life. You’ll support both Local Area Marketing (LAM) and national marketing activity across our store network.

The opportunity

This is a full-time, five-month fixed-term position from October 2026 to February 2027.

Hybrid (WFH 1 day per week) conditions will be considered for the right candidate.

You’ll take direction from the Marketing Manager in relation to Local Area Marketing and national marketing support while working collaboratively with the broader team.

What you’ll be doing

Local Area Marketing & Campaigns

- Coordinate Local Area Marketing campaigns across individual stores, suburbs and regions.

- Develop and implement local promotions, offers and activations.

- Adapt national marketing campaigns for local audiences where required.

- Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, approvals and execution.

- Support recent store opening marketing plans and associated LAM activity.

Store & Franchise Partner Support

- Work closely with Franchise Partners and managers of corporate stores to support local marketing requirements.

- On request, identify opportunities to increase local customer traffic and sales.

- Provide marketing toolkits, POS materials and campaign guidelines.

- Support local events, sponsorships and community initiatives as requested.

Digital & Social Marketing





- Coordinate local paid social media content and community engagement for new store openings and LAM requests.

- Manage national digital advertising and paid social campaigns.

- Coordinate LAM and national email, SMS and CRM communications in conjunction with company requirements.

- Track campaign performance and local customer activity across social channels.

Events, Activations & Marketing Materials

- Plan and coordinate local events, sampling and promotional activations as requested.

- Brief agencies and designers on local marketing requirements in conjunction with Marketing requirements.

- Coordinate the production and distribution of flyers, posters, signage, POS and digital assets.

- Ensure all local marketing materials comply with brand guidelines.

Community & Partnerships

- Support Franchise Partners to build relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups and organisations.

- Coordinate local sponsorships and community initiatives as requested.

Budget, Administration & Reporting

- Track local marketing expenditure and new store opening plans.

- Maintain accurate campaign records, timelines and marketing administration.

- Track campaign performance and provide reporting and insights on local and social marketing activity.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders in a fast-moving workplace.

Key skills and experience include campaign coordination, project management, digital marketing, social media, stakeholder management, budget tracking and reporting, together with strong attention to detail.

Experience within retail, food, hospitality or franchising would be advantageous, particularly where you have worked with multiple locations or local marketing campaigns.
