About the role

Programmed is seeking experienced MC and HC truck drivers to join our growing requirements with our warehouse clients in Adelaide. This is a casual position offering Day shift work opportunities for skilled professionals in the road transport industry. You will be based in Adelaide SA and will have the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, making this an ideal opportunity for drivers seeking casual employment with a reputable logistics company.

What you'll be doing

- Operating MC and HC category trucks safely and professionally on scheduled routes
- Conducting pre and post-journey vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate logbooks
- Transporting freight and goods to designated locations in compliance with all road transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery updates and any issues
- Adhering to strict adherence to fatigue management rules and safe work practices
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting maintenance requirements promptly
- Ensuring all cargo is properly secured and transported according to specifications
- Meeting delivery timeframes whilst maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety

What we're looking for

- Valid MC or HC truck driver's licence with a clean driving record
- A manual license is desirable
- Proven experience driving MC and HC trucks in commercial operations
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Skilled communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions accurately




- A commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards at all times
- Familiarity with digital logbook systems is advantageous
- Ability to pass medical check, Police clearance, drivers history check and Drug and alcohol screening.
