Light Vehicle Mechanic – BRAND-NEW Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto, Lambton

$80,000 – $99,000 per year + super | Full-time

The Opportunity

Bridgestone Select Tyre & Auto has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at our BRAND-NEW location in Lambton, NSW. This is a great opportunity to join a new, modern workshop and become part of an established and growing automotive business.

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across a range of passenger and light commercial vehicles
- Carry out scheduled servicing and routine maintenance
- Inspect and test vehicles to identify faults and potential issues
- Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension, steering and other mechanical components
- Perform vehicle safety inspections where appropriately accredited
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
- Work effectively as part of a professional workshop team
- Provide excellent customer service when communicating with customers

What You'll Need

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic preferred
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Current AIS Examiner accreditation preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills




- Confidence using modern automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Tyre fitting and wheel alignment experience preferred but not essential
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
