Job Description

- Analyse and document business requirements to inform technology solutions.
- Lead discovery activities to identify business challenges, service improvement opportunities and strategic priorities.
- Drive future-state process design and operating model development across multiple business functions.
- Conduct research, benchmarking and market analysis to inform innovation and transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions with leaders and subject matter experts.
- Analyse and document business, operational and process requirements.
- Develop process maps, business cases, options analysis and investment recommendations.
- Assess opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements and service enhancement.
- Support proof of concepts, pilots and experimentation initiatives to validate current approaches.
- Partner with project, technology, finance and operational teams to support implementation and benefits realisation.
- Challenge assumptions, identify risks and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement frameworks, governance processes and organisational capability uplift.
- Ensure solutions balance operational effectiveness,

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Analyst should have:

- Significant experience in business analysis, business transformation or process improvement roles.
- Demonstrated experience designing future-state processes and operating models.
- Strong capability in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments with evolving business requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to assess business value and investment outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Experience developing business cases, options assessments and process improvement recommendations.
- Exposure to innovation, transformation programs or organisational change initiatives.
- Experience within not-for-profit, aged care, community services, health or human services environments will be highly regarded.
