Your Next Role!
Quality has a real impact on the way people experience our services. When the right systems, standards and assurance are in place, teams are better supported, risks are understood earlier and services are stronger, safer and more consistent.
As RFQ’s Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping quality across the organisation. You’ll work alongside leaders, service teams and Lived Experience to strengthen quality systems, support accreditation assurance and audit activities, interpret complex requirements and turn quality information into meaningful improvement. Through evidence-informed approaches and recognised best practice, you'll help build a quality culture that is practical, collaborative and embedded in everyday work.
This is a role with genuine organisation wide influence. You’ll help RFQ understand what is working well, where practice can be strengthened and what needs attention next, while building a quality approach that is practical, collaborative and embedded in everyday work.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work across RFQ to strengthen the systems, assurance and improvement activity that sit behind high quality service delivery.
Your role will include:
- Strengthening RFQ’s Quality Management Framework and supporting systems so they remain practical, integrated and fit for purpose.
- Coordinating accreditation, certification and audit readiness, including internal assurance activity and responses to findings.
- Interpreting quality, regulatory and accreditation requirements and helping teams translate them into workable practice.
- Using insights from client incidents, complaints and feedback, alongside audits and service reviews, to identify themes and support meaningful improvement in service quality.
- Working with leaders,
service teams and Lived Experience to ensure quality activity reflects the experiences, rights and outcomes of people accessing RFQ services.
- Providing clear quality advice, reporting and guidance that supports sound decision making and builds capability across the organisation.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring strong experience in quality management, assurance and continuous improvement within a complex or regulated service environment.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience across accreditation, certification and audit processes, including internal audits, external audit preparation, non conformities and corrective actions.
- Sound knowledge of relevant quality and regulatory frameworks, including ISO standards, NDIS Practice Standards and national mental health and community managed organisation standards.
- The ability to interpret complex standards and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical organisational approaches.
- Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with the confidence to identify systemic issues and provide clear, evidence based advice.
- The ability to build trusted relationships, influence across different levels of the organisation and provide constructive challenge when needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high quality reports and work effectively with leaders, teams, auditors and external stakeholders.
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Why RFQ?
At RFQ,
quality is connected to purpose. The systems you strengthen, the standards you help embed and the improvements you support all contribute to better experiences and outcomes for the people who access our services.
You’ll join a values driven community mental health organisation with more than 50 years of experience, where quality is something we build together across teams, leaders and Lived Experience.
You’ll also benefit from:
- $120,000 - $140,000 Competitive Base annual salary (depending on experience) + Superannuation
- Salary packaging through AccessPay, helping you make the most of your take home pay.
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential wellbeing support.
