We are looking for a Chef and Cook to join our friendly kitchen team in Innaloo, WA.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a Chef and Cook, we expect the responsibilities and tasks, including:

Ø ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Ø capable of following instructions & multitasking effectively under pressure

Ø take pride in their work.

Ø always maintain the kitchen at a very high level of hygiene.

Ø rostering labour to reach the labour cost target of a kitchen.

Ø efficiently rotating stocks and minimising wastage.

Ø creative ideas for new menu items.

Ø effective communication skills.

Ø able to motivate staff.

Ø menu costing.

Ø cooking dishes according to company standards.





Ø monitoring food portions according to company standards.

Ø meetings with managers and directors.

Ø report to the Managing Director.

Skills and experience

Ø Hold a trade certificate in commercial cookery.

Ø At least two years or more work experiences in a commercial kitchen

Ø Experienced working in a commercial kitchen - not essential but ideal.

Ø Strong work ethic, clean, organised and meticulous

Ø Ability to accept personal accountability and provide clear leadership and communication to team members.

Job type: Full-time

Salary: $79423 - $79,500 per year

Candidates:

· Must have a Police Clearance.

· Must be trustworthy & reliable & have a positive attitude.

· Be available to work varied shifts days, nights and weekends.

· Are available for immediate start.
