This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how a business works and turning data and observations into better, more consistent ways of working.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse end-to-end processes across operations, logistics and customer service to identify bottlenecks, duplication and manual workarounds.
- Conduct workflow reviews and recommend improvements to process design, resource use and task execution.
- Review task allocation and accountability to support balanced workloads and efficient processes as the business grows.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, process documentation and training guides.
- Establish and monitor KPIs covering productivity, fulfilment accuracy, process effectiveness and customer service outcomes.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, recurring issues, root causes and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Support system implementations and organisational change through user testing,
troubleshooting, procedure updates and team training.
- Review information flows between systems supporting orders, inventory, logistics, returns and customer service.
- Prepare clear reports and evidence-based recommendations for management.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in business, management, commerce, operations or a related discipline.
- Experience analysing business processes, workflows or operational procedures.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Experience using operational data and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience developing procedures, workflows and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Strong written communication, organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence working collaboratively across different business functions.
- A practical, hands-on approach to process improvement.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics, customer service or a growing business will be highly regarded.
