BSS - Bus Services & Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking for experienced Vehicle Painters to undertake painting and finishing work on buses and heavy vehicles, ensuring high-quality and durable finishes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking and removing old paint or rust.
- Fill and smooth dents, cavities and other surface imperfections.
- Mix and match paint colours according to specifications.
- Apply primer, base coats and clear coats using spray painting equipment.
- Apply decals, decorative finishes and company branding where required.
- Inspect finished surfaces and complete touch-ups or corrections.
- Polish painted surfaces and apply protective coatings as required.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, compressors and other painting equipment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling paints and chemicals.




- Work with other technicians to complete projects within required timeframes.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Painter or in a similar role.
- Experience painting buses, trucks or heavy vehicles.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, paint mixing, spray painting and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain painting equipment.
- Positive understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
