We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Receptionist and Membership Consultant to join the team at World Gym Townsville.

- Membership Consultant
- Full Time Afternoon Reception / Retail Assistant

1. MEMBERSHIP CONSULTANT – Full/Part Time

We’re looking for a sales-driven, confident and people-focused Membership Consultant to help drive membership growth and create exceptional member experiences.

Key responsibilities:

- Generate and follow up leads

- Conduct club tours and membership consultations

- Convert enquiries into memberships

- Meet sales targets and KPIs

- Build strong relationships with members and prospects

- Support retention and member engagement

- Assist with social media and club marketing

- Promote memberships, Personal Training, retail and club services

What we’re looking for:

- Previous sales/customer service experience preferred

- Confident communication and phone skills





- Motivated by targets and results

- Energetic, proactive and reliable

- Strong work ethic and skilled presentation

- Passion for fitness and helping people achieve their goals

2. FULL-TIME AFTERNOON RECEPTION / RETAIL ASSISTANT

Be the face of World Gym Townsville and help deliver an awesome experience for our members every day.

Key responsibilities:

- Reception and member enquiries

- Answer phones and assist members and guests

- Membership and account enquiries

- Barbell Café – prepare shakes, coffees and café items

- Pro Shop retail sales and POS transactions

- Promote memberships, PT, retail and café products

- Stock control and merchandising

- Maintain cleanliness and presentation

- Assist with club promotions and social media

- Opening/closing and general club duties

What we’re looking for:

- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality or fitness experience preferred

- Friendly, confident and professional personality

- Strong communication and people skills

- Sales-minded and comfortable upselling

- Reliable, punctual and well-presented

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Confident using POS and computer systems

- Passion for fitness and creating outstanding member experiences

- First Aid & CPR preferred, or willingness to obtain

- Australian working rights
