About Our Client
My client have established themselves as a global leader in industrial measurement and automation, and following significant success in the North American data centre market, the business is making a strategic investment to capture the rapidly growing Australian opportunity.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Identify and pursue recent business opportunities within the Data Centre space with EPC's, OEMs, fabricators etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities and challenges for the business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
The Successful Applicant A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the Data Centre's sector.
- Robust understanding of sales processes and client relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
- An engineering qualification or degree.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and drive strategic decisions.
- A valid driver's licence for travel to client site
