Night Auditor – InterContinental Sydney Double Bay

Our hotels never sleep—so we’re looking for a Night Auditor to help us stay one step ahead of tomorrow.

Working the overnight shift (11:00pm to 7:00am), you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial processes.

About the Role

As our Night Auditor, you’ll be the face of the hotel during the overnight hours—keeping operations running smoothly while creating a safe, welcoming environment for every guest.

Key responsibilities include

- Acting as the main point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction

- Managing night operations and resolving guest queries efficiently and professionally

- Performing end-of-day accounting tasks, reports, and managing cash flow

- Supporting the Night Manager and Assistant Night Manager with reporting and administrative tasks

- Delivering In-Room Dining orders

- Assisting with valet parking and welcoming guest arrivals (Full NSW Driver Licence required)

About You

You are a reliable and self-motivated professional who thrives in a night shift environment. You bring a balance of strong customer service skills and attention to detail, with the confidence to manage operations independently.

You take pride in creating positive guest experiences, even during quieter overnight hours, and you remain calm, solution-focused, and qualified at all times.





To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Night Audit role (preferred)

- Robust numerical accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-first mindset

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- A valid Full NSW Driver Licence (essential)

- Experience with hotel systems (e.g. Opera) is highly regarded

- Full Australian working rights (No sponsorship opportunities)
