About the role

Mitchelton Wines is seeking a dedicated and professional Night Manager to join our hospitality team on a part time basis. Based at our location in Nagambie, Victoria, this role is crucial to ensuring our guests receive exceptional service during evening hours and overnight stays.

As Night

Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations during night shifts, managing guest relations, and maintaining the highest standards of service that reflect our commitment to hospitality excellence. This position plays a vital role in safeguarding our guests' comfort and safety whilst upholding Mitchelton Wines' reputation for outstanding customer care.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all front office and guest services operations during night shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery

- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with professionalism, warmth and attention to detail

- Address guest inquiries, requests and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues in a manner that prioritises guest satisfaction

- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest rooms and facilities meet required standards

- Monitor and control night shift staffing, providing direction and support to team members as needed

- Maintain accurate records of guest information, transactions and incidents during your shift

- Conduct security patrols and ensure the property is secure throughout the night

- Handle cash and financial transactions securely and accurately





- Report on operational issues and provide handover information to day management

- Promote Mitchelton Wines' wine offerings and dining experiences to guests, providing recommendations and information

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in front office or guest services roles, ideally within hospitality, hotels, resorts or similar establishments

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail

- Proficiency with hotel management systems and point-of-sale technology

- Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, guest service standards and health and safety protocols

- Reliability, discretion and a professional demeanour befitting a luxury hospitality environment

- Customer service certification or hospitality qualification is desirable but not essential

- Experience in wine or food and beverage environments would be advantageous

- First Aid certificate

- Fire warden expereince

Please note this role is 4 nights a week - Thursday until Sunday.
