CCU Nurse Unit Manager

Private Hospital | Melbourne

We are working with a well-established private hospital in Melbourne that is seeking an experienced and motivated CCU Nurse Unit Manager to lead their newly renovated Coronary Care Unit.

As the CCU Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Coronary Care Unit, including the care of cardiac procedural, acute cardiac and cardiothoracic patients.

Your responsibilities will include

- Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the clinical area
- Coordinating workforce requirements and supporting effective staffing
- Driving quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives
- Monitoring resource utilisation and ensuring effective operational performance
- Working collaboratively with medical, allied health and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentoring and developing staff

About You





- 3+ years' experience in a critical care or cardiac environment
- Previous leadership experience as an ANUM, CNE or CNS
- Full working rights & AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care/Cardiac Nursing highly regarded
