We are seeking passionate, dedicated and professional Nurses and Support Workers to join our EmpowerLink team.
Responsibilities / Support Worker:
- Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Support clients in accessing the community and participating in social activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Maintain accurate client records and report any significant changes in client conditions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
- Promote client independence and encourage skill development.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- Professional reporting and communication skills.
Responsibilities / Nurse:
- Monitor patient’s conditions, assess their needs, and provide the best possible care and advice.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
- Maintain accurate patient records and report any significant changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective care plans.
- Ensure all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met.
- Provide physical, psychological, and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in educational workshops to enhance professional and technical knowledge.
- Skilled reporting and communication skills.
What you will need:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
CPR Certificate - valid for 12 months
First Aid Certificate - valid for 3 years
NDIS Orientation Modules
Vaccination Record
Hand Hygiene Training
Infection Control Certificate
Vehicle insurance and a roadworthy car
Mobile phone with Internet and GPS
Additionally for Nurses
AHPRA Nursing Registration
Qualifications award (diploma, bachelor or master degree)
