· Occupational Therapist (Graduate Program 2027)

· Full-Time Fixed term (01/02/2027 - 30/01/2028) 80 hours per fortnight, including an ADO.

· Salary: $70,590 to $85,872 base + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave.

An exciting opportunity exists for a 2027 new graduate occupational therapist to join the Peter Mac Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, and Podiatry Department.

This role offers the chance to work in a world-class oncology setting, rotating through medical oncology, surgical oncology, and haematology wards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality acute occupational therapy services to Peter Mac patients.
- Provide patient-centred care within the specialist area of oncology.
- Assist in discharge planning, goal setting, and developing ongoing care plans.
- Implement and evaluate treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Support departmental professional development, research,



and quality initiatives to ensure evidence-based best practices.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
- Completed occupational therapist entry level qualification in 2026.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Passion for evidence-based, patient-focused occupational therapy care.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
