About the Role

Combined Demolition Services is seeking a full-time Office IT Administrator and Software Engineer to manage the company's IT environment while developing, implementing and supporting software applications, business systems, integrations and automation solutions.

The role combines software development, systems integration, automation and IT administration, working closely with management and employees to improve technology, business processes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

● Analyse business and user requirements and develop appropriate software and technology solutions.

● Design, develop, modify, implement and maintain software applications and business systems.

● Write, test, debug and maintain application code, scripts and software components.

● Develop internal tools, dashboards, reports and database-driven solutions.

● Develop and maintain API integrations and connections between internal and third-party systems.

● Design and implement workflow automation to improve business efficiency and reduce manual processes.

● Test, troubleshoot and resolve software, application and integration issues.

● Implement software upgrades, system changes and new technology solutions.

● Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for software applications.

● Administer and maintain cloud applications, business systems and office IT infrastructure.

● Provide technical support for computers, devices, connectivity, software and user access.

● Manage user accounts, permissions, licences and system access.

● Maintain appropriate system, software and IT documentation.





● Identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement across software, systems and business processes.

● Work with management and users to continuously improve the company's technology environment.

About You

● Minimum 2 years' experience in software engineering, software development, IT administration, systems administration or a related technology role.

● Experience developing and maintaining software applications and business systems.

● Programming and scripting experience.

● Experience with APIs, systems integration and databases.

● Experience with automation and workflow solutions.

● Strong testing, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Good technical documentation and communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
