Operations Manager – Permanent Part-Time

About the Club

Redland City FC is a growing community football club based at Donald Road Sportsfield, Redland Bay. A volunteer Management Committee runs the Club, which is committed to football development for all. We're now looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to support our volunteers, strengthen our systems and help the Club run smoothly all year round.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role for an organised, proactive and community-minded person. You'll report to the Club Treasurer and Management Committee and work closely with the Club Secretary. You'll also be the Club's key contact for players, families, coaches, volunteers, Football Queensland, Council and suppliers.

- Position: Operations Manager, permanent part-time
- Hours: 20–25 hours per week, with some weekend work (including Sign-On Day, Presentation Day and carnivals)
- Pay: $33–$40 per hour,
- Location: Donald Road Sportsfield, Redland Bay QLD

What you'll do

- Coordinate day-to-day Club operations and seasonal planning.
- Manage registrations, team nominations, player allocations and competitions using Majestri, Squadi and PlayFootball.
- Support members, families, coaches and volunteers, and help recruit and coordinate volunteers.
- Coordinate fields, facilities, maintenance, match-day needs and uniform stock.
- Create marketing materials in Canva, and manage the Club's social media and website.
- Support Club events, clinics and community activities.
- Assist the Treasurer with purchasing, invoices and financial administration.
- Maintain Blue Card,



accreditation and compliance records, and support grants, governance and safeguarding.
- Improve Club systems, policies and procedures.

What you'll bring

- A current Blue Card and driver's licence
- Strong administration, organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills, and confidence working with volunteers and a Committee
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online systems
- Availability for occasional weekends and key Club events
- A passion for community sport and football

Experience in sports, community or not-for-profit administration would be a real advantage. So would knowledge of Football Queensland systems, and experience with volunteer coordination, events, grants, social media or Canva. Why join us?
