What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be an Ortho Assistant in our specialist orthodontic team working 3-4 days per week from Tuesday to Friday.

Our main practice is Orthodontics on Berrigan in Jandakot, where you’ll primarily work. We have a sister clinic, Orthodontics on St Quentin in Claremont, where you’ll work 1 day per week.

Orthodontics is quite different from general dentistry because we provide care to patients as a team in an open-plan clinic. This makes for a a busy clinic with every day being different. Most of our patients are children, and seeing our patients every few months for appointments means our clinic is buzzing with happy families who you get to know really well over time. There’s never a dull day in our clinic and its very much a people place!

Beyond the basics like preparing for procedures, chairside assisting, reprocessing instruments and managing stock, there’s the opportunity to develop your skill and become involved in patient education, intra-oral scanning and being more involved in the patient experience.

What we’re looking for…

A warm and friendly dental assistant who has life experience and common sense.

To get the most out of the opportunity for growth opportunities, a Cert IV in Dental assisting would be ideal.



For those with a Cert III, we can work with you on a plan for you to progress and achieve your goals.
