Broulee Long Day Care Centre is a community‑focused early childhood education and care service located on the NSW South Coast, approximately 4 hours south of Sydney.

About the Role
We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader to join our friendly team in Broulee on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 4 hours south of Sydney. The position is flexible and may be part time or full time, working a minimum of 6 hours per day, with time on and off the floor to complete administrative duties.
Whilst experience is not essential but preferred, as the successful applicant, you will have an excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and how they are to be implemented into practice.
As the Early Childhood Teacher/Educational Leader at the Service, you will work closely with the Nominated Supervisor and will be responsible for mentoring trainees, collaborating with educators and providing curriculum direction and guidance, supporting educators to implement the planning cycle and leading the development and implementation of effective educational programs in the Service.
Administrative experience is favourable, with the successful candidate havingthe potential to become 2IC in the future.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications
An approved degree in Early Childhood Education OR its equivalent
Essential Requirements
Current NSW Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain).
Completion of Mandatory Childhood Protection and Child safety courses (or willingness to obtain).
Australian working rights.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning, including child safety training.
Hours of Work
6 hours per day, within the service operating hours of 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Teacher’s Award, based on experience.
