About the role

This is a varied position with two key areas of responsibility – actively assisting with the growth of our commercial client base and managing commercial compliance requirements. You will play an active role in growing and maintaining our commercial business and assist with ensuring our commercial compliance requirements are accurately maintained and kept up to date.

Key responsibilities

- Contacting prospective commercial clients
- Following up new leads and sales opportunities
- Building relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Preparing and following up commercial quotes
- Following up existing clients for additional work and services
- Identifying current sales opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activity and follow-ups
- Assisting with the ongoing growth of our Commercial Department
- Managing commercial and contractor compliance documentation
- Completing and maintaining client and contractor compliance portals

- Good sales skills and a confident telephone manner




- The confidence to make outbound calls and follow up potential business
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and online portals
- The ability to manage deadlines and follow tasks through to completion
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your responsibilities
- A professional and friendly approach when dealing with clients
- The ability to work well under supervision and as part of a team
