Position Summary The Part-Time Marketing and Recruitment Analyst supports MTSM graduate enrollment by conducting market and competitive research, analyzing recruitment data, developing reports and dashboards, and assisting with marketing communications, recruitment strategies, and events. The position works with school leadership, university offices, faculty, students, alumni, and external partners to strengthen domestic and international recruitment.
Essential Functions
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct research on prospective-student markets, competing programs, employer demand, industry trends, tuition, program formats, and priority domestic and international recruitment segments.
Recruitment and Enrollment Analytics
- Analyze inquiries, applications, admissions, deposits, enrollment, yield, campaign performance, and recruitment channels, and prepare dashboards, forecasts, reports, and recommendations for school leadership.
Recruitment Strategy and Process Improvement
- Support the development and improvement of recruitment strategies and processes from initial inquiry through application, enrollment, and onboarding.
Marketing and Communications
- Assist with graduate-program campaigns, digital communications, presentations, media content, event materials, and prospective-student follow-up while ensuring accurate and consistent program messaging.
Recruitment Events and Partnerships
- Support information sessions, webinars, open houses, fairs, corporate presentations, international meetings, admitted-student programs, and other recruitment and outreach activities.
Reporting and Strategic Support
- Prepare market studies, analytical reports, presentations, and data required for program review, accreditation, enrollment planning,
and other strategic initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties assigned by the Dean and/or Executive Director of Graduate Programs in support of graduate recruitment, marketing, analytics, and program priorities.
Pre-Requisite Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate degree in business, analytics, marketing, management, information systems, or a related field, with experience in market research, competitive analysis, segmentation, promotion and recruitment project management.
- Proficiency with media usage, data-visualization, customer relationship management, digital communication, and related business technologies.
- Robust analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with diverse domestic and international audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, STEM-designated graduate business degree, or comparable advanced preparation.
- Experience with advanced analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI or comparable applications.
- Experience with recruitment analytics, enrollment forecasting, marketing campaigns, higher education recruitment, event coordination, or domestic and international graduate enrollment.
Compensation
Hourly rate of $25 At the university's discretion,
the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, or other items.
