Part-Time Housekeeper – Private Residence | Eastern Suburbs

About the Role A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Housekeeper to join an established private household in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, supporting a HNWI household three days per week.

This is a supporting Housekeeper position, working alongside an existing full-time Housekeeper to assist with the day-to-day upkeep, organisation and presentation of the residence.

You will be joining an established household team which consists of a House Manager, PA, Chef, Housekeeper, Gardener etc...

This role would suit someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working collaboratively within a professional and well-run private household.

Hours & Schedule The role is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with two options available depending on the successful candidate’s preference:

- 3 x 6-hour days – 18 hours per week; or

- 3 x 8-hour days – 24 hours per week for someone looking for additional hours.

Preferred hours would be agreed at the commencement of the role and become your regular weekly schedule, providing consistency for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

- General housekeeping and cleaning alongside the full-time Housekeeper

- Maintaining bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas to a high standard

- Vacuuming, mopping,



dusting and cleaning furniture, fixtures and surfaces

- Making beds and changing linen and towels as required

- Laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, folding and putting items away

- Wardrobe, cupboard and general household organisation

- Kitchen cleaning and general tidying

- Maintaining household linen and towels

- Periodic deep cleaning and attention to less frequently used areas

- Caring appropriately for delicate surfaces, furniture and household items

- Preparing guest rooms when required

- Some assistance with household pets (minimal)

- Occasional errands and ad hoc duties

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in housekeeping, ideally within a private residence, HNWI household or high-end hotel environment

- Australian Citizenship (ESSENTIAL)

- Proactive, sensible, reliable and able to recognise what needs to be done

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of an established household team

- Discreet and respectful of privacy and confidentiality

- Comfortable around dogs
- A current driver’s licence holder

- Able to provide strong professional references

- Able to obtain/pass a Police Check
