MARS Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-listed company to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for an initial 3-month contract. This is a good prospect for someone with solid end-to-end payroll experience who can step into a busy finance team, pick things up quickly and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll

- Manage new starters, terminations, leave, payroll adjustments and employee enquiries

- Complete payroll reconciliations, payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and payroll reporting

- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in line with relevant legislation and awards

- Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams to resolve payroll queries

- Assist with general finance administration and reconciliations as required

About You

- Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll

- Pronto experience is essential





- Good understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills

- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment

- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach

- Available to commit to an initial 3-month contract
