The Role

We are seeking an experienced PCN Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting critical Process Control Network (PCN) environments.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving industrial network infrastructure across operational technology environments. Working closely with engineering, cybersecurity, control systems, and operational teams, you will ensure networks remain secure, resilient, and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

Process Control Network Engineering

- Design, implement, and support Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure within OT environments
- Configure and maintain industrial network technologies including switches, routers, firewalls, and network monitoring solutions
- Support integration activities across control systems, SCADA platforms, and industrial applications
- Contribute to network architecture development, technical standards, and lifecycle management initiatives
- Support technology upgrades, infrastructure refresh programs, and migration activities

Network Operations & Cybersecurity

- Troubleshoot complex network performance, connectivity, and communications issues
- Support OT cybersecurity initiatives across critical infrastructure environments
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards,



cybersecurity requirements, and site-specific policies
- Improve network reliability, resilience, and operational performance through continuous improvement activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable network solution

What Our Client Requires

Essential Experience

- Experience supporting industrial networks within mining, manufacturing, utilities, energy, or other operational technology environments
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet networking, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network security principles
- Experience working with industrial network technologies such as Cisco, Hirschmann, Stratix, Palo Alto, or similar platforms
- Understanding of OT/ICS environments, including SCADA and industrial control system architectures
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and communications issues
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
