As a Ranger, you will provide operational leadership and support the delivery of park management programs across Queensland's protected areas. You will supervise and mentor ranger teams, coordinate projects, and contribute to activities such as pest and weed control, fire management, visitor and asset management, infrastructure maintenance, compliance, emergency response and conservation initiatives. The role also involves working with stakeholders, including local communities, Traditional Owners, neighbouring landholders and government agencies, as well as completing administrative, budgeting and reporting responsibilities.
We're looking for a motivated and organised team leader who can build positive relationships, communicate effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience leading teams, managing projects,
supporting protected work practices and delivering operational outcomes in outdoor or land management environments will be highly regarded. You must hold a current unrestricted manual driver's licence and be physically capable of working in remote and challenging field conditions, including tropical heat and rugged terrain.
