Our clients, are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to take ownership of the accounts receivable function for a highly regarded boutique company in Moorabbin.
This is a permanent part time role, working four days per week, five hours per day, with the flexibility to spread your hours across five days if that suits you better. Thursdays are worked from home.

About the Role
This position is ideal for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is process-driven, systems-savvy, and communicates confidently with clients and colleagues alike.
You will take responsibility for the full accounts receivable function, ensuring debtors are managed effectively and all related processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Following up aged debtors by phone and email
- Managing monthly failed credit card payment follow-ups
- Responding to and managing cancellation enquiries
- Setting up new customer subscriptions in HubSpot
- Reviewing account information and identifying discrepancies or required actions
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring matters are followed through to completion
- Liaising with customers and internal team members to resolve account-related issues
- Responding to daily emails and general accounts administration
Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable position
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your role
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Hubspot experience would be a bonus but is not essential
- Experience using Xero (highly regarded)
