About the Company

About the role

Topfield Farms is after a skilled,



reliable Machinery Operator who knows their way around a tractor and isn’t afraid to keep it running. This is a hands-on role across the full production cycle – and there’s genuine variety in it.
If you can plant straight, harvest clean and look after your gear, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Potato planting – your primary focus. Spacing, depth, population, row accuracy.
• Harvesting potatoes and onions – maximising yield, minimising damage.
• Spreading – fertiliser, lime, gypsum, to rate.
• Field prep – tillage, bed-forming, cultivation, ground prep.
• Day-to-day machinery maintenance – pre-starts, greasing, basic fault-finding.
