About the role

Full-time permanent position based in either Brisbane or Melbourne. Reporting directly to the General Manager People and Culture Operations, you will be responsible for the following:

- Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational advice including but not limited to; workforce planning, succession planning, organisational design, changement management, employee relations and workforce insights and analytics
- Leading workforce planning, organisational design, remuneration analysis and workforce budget planning to support business objectives and future workforce requirements
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, workplace culture, industrial relations and employment legislation
- Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and organisational change initiatives with support from the General Manager People and Culture Operations where required
- Coach, support and build leadership capability across the organisation in people management, employee engagement, performance and workforce effectiveness
- Influence and negotiate practical solutions to complex people challenges, balancing business outcomes with organisational risk and compliance requirements
- Drive People & Culture initiatives, continuous improvement activities and strategic workforce projects in collaboration with business leaders and key stakeholders
- Manage case management, injury management, Return to Work and workers? compensation matters, ensuring compliance,



consistency and positive employee outcomes
- Coach and mentor junior members of the team providing guidance, mentoring and support to build capability

About you To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
2. 5+ years demonstrated experience as a HR Business Partner
3. Prior experience in the Not-For-Profit, Social and Community Services,



or Health Care sector(s) would be highly regarded
4. Builds and maintains strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the relevant portfolio
5. Applies a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures to provide sound and compliant advice
6. Thinks strategically and critically, considering the broader organisational purpose and impact when making decisions
7. Proactively advocates, influences and negotiates to navigate complex challenges, resolve issues and achieve positive outcomes
8. Embraces and champions change with focus and optimism, inspiring others to adapt and engage positively with new ways of working
