At Modular, we’re creating value together. We are seeking a Performance Assurance Engineer (Industrial) to join our team and help mining operations unlock greater productivity, efficiency and value through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

In this customer-facing role, you'll combine your analytical capability, mining knowledge and problem-solving skills to assess operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and support customers in optimising the use of Modular Mining technologies. You'll work closely with mine site stakeholders, helping them improve data integrity, operational performance and technology adoption

What You'll Be Doing

- Assess mine operations performance using extensive data analysis including fleet utilisation, fleet productivity, cycle effectiveness, loading process and other measurable mining production processes.
- Generate, implement and present KPI (Key performance Indicators) of data integrity, EFOF (Effective Fleet Optimisation Factor), FOF (Fleet Optimisation Factor), LHE (Load and Haul Efficiency), system reliability and other relevant KPI’s according to the scope of the Performance Assurance visit.
- Review customer system utilisation and recommend actions to optimise technology performance and business outcomes.
- Participate in preparation of detailed route map to perform follow up activities resulting from site visits and maintain direct communication with customers on resolving the actions/activities until completion.



Identify and resolve support tickets that may impact Performance Assurance activities.
- Partner with site leaders and operational stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and support customers on system usage, best practice processes and operational workflows.
- Track, manage and follow up improvement actions to ensure sustainable outcomes.
- Build solid relationships with mine managers, planning teams, dispatch administrators and operational teams.
- Contribute to the development and sharing of best practices across the business.

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience analysing and interpreting operational or business data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to present technical information in a practical and meaningful way.

Desirable

- Experience within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Knowledge of fleet management, dispatching or mine planning systems.
- Exposure to data analytics, reporting and visualisation tools.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering customer value.

Salary Range $80,000k to $90,000k Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
