Ongoing Casual -> Permanent Forklift Operators for Yards and Warehouses in the Metro Area!

Blue Collar People are seeking forklift operators interested in a long-term ongoing casual -> permanent position for various forklift roles.

This role would suit someone looking for stable, consistent work which can transition to a permanent position here in the city, who wants to work 8hrs or more per day, and who doesn't mind consistent, repetitive work.

You must be an Australian or Recent Zealand citizen or otherwise have full, permanent working rights in Australia to be able to apply for this role.

The Role

Responsibilities include

- Operating a forklift (surprising, I know!). In a yard this is moving big bulk lengths of timber, and in a warehouse this could be moving pallets of drums of motor oil and lubricant or other goods
- Accurately identifying stock and stock placement, moving it through the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks and bays, etc etc
- Pickpacking and order fulfilment both on and off the forklift as required
- Use of warehouse stock management computer systems as required





Pay Rates

- Ordinary Hours: $36.70 per hour while casually employed with us
- Time and a Half: $48.95 per hour
- Double Time: $62.93 per hour
- The above penalty rates also apply for any weekend work if ever required

Job Details

- Job Location: Canning Vale, Maddington, Welshpool and other locations throughout Perth

- Start date: ASAP
- Hours: Generally 37.5 to 40hrs per week depending on the client
- Duration: Ongoing casual -> permanent

- The desire and interest to work permanently in these roles in the future
- Your Australian forklift license and prior experience
- A keen eye for detail and accurate work
