Seeking Several Experienced, Ongoing Casual -> Permanent Racking Installers!

About the Client

Our client for this role is a warehouse racking company based in the Canning Vale area.

The client is looking for several permanent junior racking installers and one senior racking installer to join their team for work in the Metro Area after a few months' casual employment through us!

This role would be perfect if you're either a racking installer or scaffolder. It would be a great next step if you're a switched-on general labourer who wants to pick up more consistent work out of the sun, or a warehouse worker who'd rather build them than work in them! Some moderate manual handling is involved but it's not dirty work. The client seems to have a good environment and team, and it should suit you if you're socially confident and upbeat at work!

Australian or New Zealand citizens or other full, permanent working right holders in Australia are highly preferred for this role, but Working Holidaymakers from the UK (no regional work requirement) are welcome as well as long as you're genuinely seeking a long-term position.

About You For the senior role, the ideal candidate would be:

- An experienced racking installer, or someone with scaffolding experience, plus prior leading hand or other leadership experience. The role would still be primarily installing racking on-site but the ability to lead or manage a small team of junior installers and take responsibility in office is key.

For the junior roles, the ideal candidates would be:
- An experienced racking installer, or someone with scaffolding experience, or
- Otherwise, a fit, switched-on and reliable general labourer with experience, who's experienced using tools and has a good head on their shoulders, would likely be a great fit too.

For both roles, you need:
- A great attitude and to be dependable; someone the client can really rely on
- To be genuinely seeking a permanent, long-term role.



The client isn't interested in temporary or casual workers and wants someone they can train up and rely on, and have become a valued member of their team
- Good English, communication, and ability to work well and get along with others
- To be switched-on and bright is highly advantageous

About The Role

Responsibilities include

- Installing various different racking systems in warehouses throughout Perth, working in a team of 2-3 guys
- Use of tools
- Manual handling of racking beams and components

Pay Rates

- Permanent Ordinary Hours: $37.50 per hour for the junior roles, and $43 negotiable per hour for the senior role once you go permanent with the client
- Casual Ordinary Hours: $37.50 - $41 per hour while you're casual with us
- Penalties: We also pay penalties for Time and a Half and Double Time as appropriate during the week

Job Details

- Site locations: Work always starts at the site in Canning Vale

- Start time: 7am

- Start date: ASAP
- Hours: Estimated 40hrs per week, possibly longer
- Duration: Ongoing casual -> permanent

Essential Requirements To be considered, you must have:

- Racking or scaffolding experience would be excellent, and for the junior roles solid construction experience and a good head on your shoulders would be great
- A genuine desire and interest to work permanently with this client in the future

- Your driver's license

- Excellent attendance
