- Full-Time Retail Manager – an experienced pharmacy or retail professional ready to lead and develop our front-of-shop team.
- Part-Time Pharmacy Student – a current Pharmacy Student looking for flexible employment to complement their university studies and gain valuable experience in community pharmacy.

Full-Time Retail Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant or retail professional ready to take the next step into a leadership position. As the Retail Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, leading the front-of-shop team and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with general pharmacy enquiries.
- Overseeing retail stock control, including ordering, replenishment and presentation.
- Managing merchandising, promotions and the overall presentation of the retail area.
- Leading, motivating and supporting the pharmacy team.
- Training, coaching and mentoring team members.
- Assisting with rostering and day-to-day team coordination.
- Ensuring team members follow Chempro policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Supporting loyalty programs and promotional activities.
- Completing administrative duties and assisting with the smooth operation of the pharmacy.




- Identifying opportunities to improve sales, customer service and the overall retail experience.
- Working closely with the Pharmacist Manager and wider team to achieve store goals.

About You – Retail Manager

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous community pharmacy or retail management experience.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong focus on customer service.
- Experience with Point of Sale systems; MINFOS experience is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
- The ability to train, coach and mentor team members.
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for community pharmacy and retail.

Part-Time Pharmacy Student

We are also seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Student to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a current Pharmacy Student looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy while working around their university commitments.

Flexible availability is highly desirable, with shifts able to be accommodated around your university timetable where possible.

You will work alongside our experienced pharmacy team and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within a community pharmacy workplace.

Your responsibilities may include

- Providing friendly and skilled customer service.




- Assisting customers with general enquiries.
- Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations.
- Assisting with stock replenishment and merchandising.
- Supporting the dispensary team as appropriate to your level of training and experience.
- Assisting with promotional and loyalty activities.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy workplace.
- Working collaboratively with the wider pharmacy team.

About You – Pharmacy Student

We are looking for someone who is:

- Currently studying Pharmacy.
- Passionate about developing a career in community pharmacy.
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused.
- Reliable, motivated and eager to learn.
- A strong communicator who works well within a team.
- Organised and able to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Available to work flexibly around university commitments.
- Previous pharmacy or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
