About The Role - Based At The Yackandandah Depot

Shire's Operations Team and gain hands-on experience maintaining roads, parks and public spaces while developing practical construction and leadership skills.

About You You're a hands-on civil construction professional who enjoys working outdoors, operating plant and equipment, and contributing to projects that improve local communities. You're a reliable team player with a robust safety focus, the ability to lead others when required, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a crew.

- Certificate III in Civil Construction (or higher) and/or substantial relevant industry experience.
- Experience reading construction plans,



operating civil plant and heavy vehicles, and delivering road and infrastructure projects to a high standard.
- Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate and guide a small team when required.
- Safety-focused, adaptable and organised, with relevant licences and tickets including a White Card, Traffic Control, First Aid, and machinery operating qualifications.
