Where you'll be working The New England region of NSW is known for its impressive landscape and historic small country towns. It is a large farming region with incredible bushwalking tracks, beautiful National Parks and spectacular waterfalls. If you love country music, you’ll love Tamworth, with museums and memorabilia on all aspects of the genre.

You can take a trip to Armidale and explore the many small towns along the way. Popular spots to visit include the Moonbi Ranges, the museum and craft shops in Uralla, and the nearby fossicking area.

The New

England region is the beating heart of country NSW, and offers everything that the city life offers, without the traffic and queues.

The New England Podiatry service provides Podiatry care to a number of key sites in the New England region with the support of the Royal Flying Doctors Service. The team has a strong commitment to Closing the Gap and, together with their Aboriginal Health Practitioner, received an award for the Healthy Deadly Feet Program.

This program was rolled out by the Ministry of Health in 2019 and aims to reduce preventable amputations in the community through providing high risk foot care to patients with acute foot pathologies. Tamworth is one of only two sites in Recent South Wales who were successful in kicking off the Healthy Deadly Feet Program - we are proud of the part we have played in having a purposeful impact on Aboriginal communities.
