Actemium is further expanding this team and is now recruiting an additional Power Systems Engineer.

You'll work across private HV networks, substations, protection and earthing, industrial power systems and major customer electrical infrastructure, with growing exposure to renewable energy and storage integration. You'll have the backing of a global engineering group, while working in a local specialist team where technical decisions are made promptly and your expertise is valued.

The Role

As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you'll own significant power systems engineering scopes across complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will see your engineering through from concept to commissioning instead of handing it off between departments. At Actemium, design and delivery are integrated.

You’ll work alongside an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer within a technically agile team, contributing to projects spanning high-voltage infrastructure, industrial power systems, automation and emerging energy integration.

You will influence technical outcomes, working alongside project managers and field teams to develop solutions that are technically sound and practical to construct

Many experienced engineers find themselves moving further away from the engineering they enjoy.



This role offers the chance to stay technically hands on, work across a broad range of power systems projects and have a genuine influence on project outcomes within a growing specialist team.

About You

You’re an experienced Power Systems Engineer who wants to shape projects that power industries, not just model them. You know your way around substations, protection studies and power system models within the Australian power industry. Earthing studies would be an advantage. You’re RPEQ, or close to it.

This role is for someone who wants depth, technical challenge, a broad variety of work, access to experienced senior engineers, technical support and opportunities to further develop your capability. Whether you're a technically solid Project Engineer, a Senior Engineer, or operating towards Principal level, we'd like to hear from you.

You will require Australian residency, a Construction Industry White Card (or eligibility)



and C Class drivers licence.
