The Role: Practice Manager

This is a pivotal role within the firm, responsible for overseeing operations, improving internal processes, and supporting the leadership team to drive efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day practice operations and workflow management
- Manage and support administrative and accounting staff
- Drive improvements across internal systems and processes (including XPM, FYI, Ignition,



and other platforms)
- Coordinate workflow across Business Services, SMSF, and advisory functions
- Support bookkeeping, BAS, IAS, and tax planning processes at a high level
- Assist with resourcing, team structure, and addressing gaps (particularly at junior levels)
- Act as a central point of coordination between partners, staff, and clients

You will bring:

- Proven experience within a public practice accounting environment
- Strong understanding of workflow, compliance processes, and practice operations
- Experience with systems such as XPM, FYI, Ignition (or similar)
- Confidence working closely with partners and influencing internal change
- A hands-on, adaptable approach—happy to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
