Pre-Delivery Team Leader

At Aptella, we deliver intelligent positioning and automation technology that helps customers work smarter, safer and more efficiently across construction, mining, surveying and geospatial industries. We’re looking for a hands-on Pre-Delivery Team Leader to join our team in Bundoora, Victoria, leading our Pre-Delivery Technicians and helping ensure equipment is prepared accurately, efficiently and ready for our customers.

The Role

This is a hands-on team leadership role where you’ll coordinate national pre-delivery work, manage technician workloads and make sure equipment is checked, tested and completed to a high standard before it leaves us. You’ll work closely with Sales Operations, the Warehouse team and technical teams to manage priorities, resolve issues and keep jobs moving.

You’ll also be expected to roll up your sleeves and support the team with pre-delivery work when required.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead, coach and support the Pre-Delivery Technician team
- Allocate and prioritise pre-delivery work orders
- Manage daily workloads and resolve team escalations
- Ensure equipment, software and licensing are ready for each job
- Maintain quality, accuracy and timely completion of pre-delivery work
- Work closely with Sales Operations and Warehouse teams across Australia
- Review completed work and maintain strong quality standards
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, team capability and efficiency
- Support the team with hands-on pre-delivery work when required

The PD also places a strong focus on team coaching, workload management,



quality checking and continuous improvement.

About You

You’re an organised and practical team leader who enjoys keeping people focused and work moving.

You bring

- Experience leading or coordinating a technical, warehouse, service or operations team
- Strong organisation and workload management skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to support the team when needed
- Good computer skills and confidence working with business systems
- A continuous improvement mindset

A background in electronics or IT will be highly regarded.
