Pricing Analyst Role - Location in between Brisbane and Gold Coast

Our FMCG client is a national specialist food supplier, delivering premium protein products to foodservice, hospitality, healthcare, education, and institutional customers nationwide.

With multiple processing and distribution facilities across the country, the business is entering an exciting growth phase through a major commercial transformation strategy. To support a more data-driven and commercially focused model, they are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst for a newly created role reporting directly to the CFO.

The Chance

This high-impact position offers rare visibility and influence across senior leadership. Rather than managing basic pricing administration, you will act as the trusted commercial expert—analyzing market trends, input costs, and profitability to drive pricing decisions that optimize margins and support sustainable national growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategy & Governance: Own and refine the national pricing framework, margin models, and approval governance processes.
- Market & Cost Analysis: Track raw material/protein wholesale markets and input costs, translating movements into actionable commercial decisions.
- Commercial Support: Lead pricing reviews, tenders, contract renewals, and profitability modeling for cross-functional teams.




- Margin Optimization: Identify revenue leakage, model business scenarios, and deliver executive-level margin reporting.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to align market competitiveness with profitability.

What You Bring

- Experience: 3 years in pricing, commercial analysis, revenue management, or category management.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities, financial modeling skills, and confidence analyzing large datasets.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong problem-solving abilities with the skill to translate complex data into clear stakeholder insights.
- Education: Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Industry Focus (Highly Regarded): Prior experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or agricultural supply chains.
