About the role

Join a major Queensland Government digital transformation program as a Business Analyst and help shape an Intelligence Platform that will support analytics, reporting, data integration and AI-enabled capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead workshops, interviews and consultations to capture complex business requirements
- Analyse and optimise business processes using BPMN, process flows and proven BA techniques
- Collaborate with architects, technical teams, SMEs and senior stakeholders to shape effective solutions
- Assess business and IT risks, with a solid focus on governance, information security and quality
- Guide other Business Analysts and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team

Highly desirable criteria

- Strong experience with business requirements, BPMN, process optimisation and stakeholder workshops
- Background in IT risk, governance, ISMS and quality assurance
- Experience across Agile and Waterfall delivery and the end-to-end SDLC
- Government, intelligence, regulatory, justice, law enforcement or other highly governed environment experience
- Experience with digital transformation, analytics, reporting,



data integration or AI-enabled capabilities

Desirable criteria

- Business Analysis qualifications or certifications such as ECBA, CCBA or CBAP
- Working knowledge of BABOK® and requirements classification
- Experience with options analysis, business cases and strategic recommendations
- Strong written communication and technical documentation skills

- Demonstrate strong business analysis and requirements management expertise
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder consultations with confidence
- Apply BPMN, process mapping and optimisation techniques
- Navigate complex ICT programs and digital transformation initiatives
- Communicate clearly through technical documentation, reports and submissions
- Collaborate with architects, SMEs, technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Adapt across Agile, Waterfall and end-to-end SDLC environments
