Location: Cromer, NSW
Salary: $82,000 – $92,000 + superannuation, commensurate with experience
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Fuse recruitment are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to take assist in the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operation of a growing FMCG manufacturing business based in Cromer.

For you:

- Permanent role
- Monday to Friday Roster working a 38 hour work week
- Start times between 8:00am and 9:00am, with the final start and finish times agreed with the successful candidate.
- Salary package of up to $92k + Super (dependent on experience)

An established Australian manufacturer specialising in personal care, household and cleaning products, this business supplies high-quality products to major retailers across Australia and international markets. Operating within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, the organisation combines manufacturing capability with a strong focus on quality, reliability and customer service. Its operations encompass production, warehousing, logistics and distribution, with a focus on efficient processes and consistent product standards. Based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the business offers a hands-on, collaborative working environment where employees play an significant role in supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to ongoing growth and improvement.

About the Opportunity
This is a key role within the business, reporting to the Warehouse Manger and working closely with the Production team to ensure materials, packaging and finished goods are managed efficiently and production and dispatch requirements are met.
You’ll lead by example, working alongside the warehouse team while coordinating receivals, storage, picking, dispatch and freight.



You’ll also be the key point of contact for transport providers, managing local, interstate and export freight.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the overall coordination of warehouse and logistics activities, including:

- Overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse and logistics function.
- Leading, allocating work to and working alongside the warehouse team.
- Receiving, storing, picking and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinating and booking inbound and outbound freight, including local, interstate and export shipments.
- Preparing and checking packing lists, delivery dockets, consignment notes and export documentation.
- Planning and overseeing truck and container loading.
- Managing pallet accounts and reconciliation.
- Ensuring packaging and materials are prepared ahead of production runs and changeovers.
- Working closely with Production to ensure materials are available when required.
- Assisting with stocktakes and cycle counts and investigating stock discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date warehouse documentation and inventory records.
- Taking ownership of stock integrity, ensuring physical stock, locations and system transactions are accurate.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
- Ensuring safe operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment across the team.
- Supporting the training and onboarding of new warehouse employees.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencies.
- Monitoring key performance measures including stock accuracy,



warehouse safety and DIFOT.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and proactive, with the confidence to take ownership of the warehouse function and lead a team by example.
You will ideally have:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, Leading Hand or similar.
- Experience coordinating and booking freight with transport providers and carriers.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Experience maintaining inventory records and transactions in MYOB.
- Manufacturing or FMCG experience is highly regarded.
- Current forklift licence and demonstrated forklift experience.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to prioritise effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Full Australian working rights — visa sponsorship is not available.
