Principal Advisor Employment Relations – People Experience (PX) – Wellington Central Permanent, Fulltime, position available! Te Haeata/The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to shape employment relations across the Ministry and influence how we build strong, productive relationships with our people and unions. You'll provide strategic advice to senior leaders, lead bargaining strategy, guide complex ER matters and shape policy, tools and practices across PX. You'll also coach others and lead projects that improve the employee experience.

In This Role You Will

- Contribute to the Ministry's employment relations strategy and bargaining.
- Provide expert advice on complex ER matters and risks.
- Advise senior leaders on strategic ER issues and initiatives.
- Shape employment policy, practice, tools and processes.
- Coach ER advisors and contribute to wider PX projects.

- Bring extensive employment relations expertise.

Utu ā-tau/Salary The remuneration band for this role is $130,129 to $179,192 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
