About This Role

Your new role

As a Principal House Officer or Registrar in Obstetric Medicine, you will provide high-quality medical care under the supervision and guidance of consultant medical staff. Working across inpatient and outpatient services, you will develop your clinical expertise while contributing to the care of patients with complex medical conditions during pregnancy.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in Obstetric Medicine.
- Assess patients, coordinate investigations and develop management plans with consultants.
- Participate in clinical handover, multidisciplinary meetings, education and training.
- Supervise and support junior medical staff while contributing to quality improvement.

About You You are a motivated medical practitioner committed to developing your expertise in Obstetric Medicine and delivering safe, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team. Skills & Experience

- Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to postgraduate medical education, training and continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing clinical priorities.

Logan Hospital Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
