Senior Consultant - Privacy & Data Risk

Sydney | 6-Month Contract | Up to $1,100 per day + Super | Hybrid Working

This is a unique chance to lead a specialist privacy and data risk remediation engagement within a large and complex organisation.

Working from the findings of an existing risk assessment, you will define remediation priorities, develop governance-backed methodologies, and create a practical roadmap for addressing privacy, data and third-party platform risks.

About the Role

This is not a delivery-focused project role.

You'll be responsible for taking a complex risk landscape and turning it into a structured, achievable plan. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll assess remediation options, establish prioritisation frameworks, define scope and create a clear path forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop risk-based remediation and prioritisation frameworks
- Define scope, deliverables and implementation sequencing
- Create governance-backed methodologies and decision-making models
- Assess privacy, data and third-party platform risks
- Develop practical remediation roadmaps and workstream plans
- Provide clear recommendations that balance risk and business outcomes





About You You bring experience in privacy, data, information or third-party risk environments and have successfully developed remediation strategies, governance frameworks or risk uplift initiatives within large organisations.

You may come from a background in:

- Privacy & Data Risk
- Information Governance
- Third-Party or Vendor Risk
- Technology or Cyber Risk
- Risk Advisory or Consulting
