Our client is a leading Western Australian utilities organisation delivering critical services across regional communities. Due to increased project activity, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join their Procurement & Supply Chain team on an initial six-month contract.

Your recent role

Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will provide procurement expertise across strategic sourcing, tender management, contract management and stakeholder engagement activities. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver compliant, value-driven procurement outcomes while managing commercial risk and supporting key projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing end-to-end procurement and tender processes, including RFQs, RFTs and supplier evaluations.
- Delivering strategic sourcing and high-risk procurement activities.
- Providing procurement and commercial advice to internal stakeholders.
- Supporting contract management and supplier relationship management activities.
- Undertaking market analysis, procurement planning and spend insights activities.
- Supporting procurement governance, compliance and risk management outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have:




- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing activities.
- Strong project procurement experience within infrastructure, capital works, engineering, utilities or similar environments.
- Previous State Government, Local Government or other highly regulated procurement experience.
- Strong contract management and commercial negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering capabilities.
- The ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance, Law, Procurement or a related discipline.
