We are on the lookout for a Procurement Manager to provide strategic leadership, governance and direction across key procurement categories at Perth Airport. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will deliver value for money outcomes, strengthen supplier relationships, mitigate risk and contribute to the ongoing evolution of procurement capability, systems and commercial performance across the organisation.

About The Role

- Lead and develop a team of Category Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and high performance.




- Drive the development and implementation of category and procurement strategies that deliver sustainable commercial value and support organisational objectives.
- Oversee end to end procurement activities including planning, market engagement, sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contract award and implementation.
- Provide strategic procurement advice to senior stakeholders, influencing decision making and delivering commercially sound procurement outcomes.
- Lead contract and contractor management activities across assigned portfolios, ensuring supplier performance, governance compliance and risk mitigation.
- Act as the subject matter expert for TechnologyOne Contracting and Purchasing systems, driving optimisation, reporting and system governance initiatives.
- Champion procurement capability uplift through training, eLearning programs and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Support ESG and supplier diversity initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen sustainability outcomes and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander supplier engagement.

About You

- Proven experience leading and developing teams, providing commercial advice and driving procurement outcomes in complex business environments.
- Strong expertise in category management, sourcing and contract management, including market analysis,



procurement planning, negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Highly effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with executives, leaders and external contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to optimise commercial performance and business outcomes.
- Excellent organisational, communication and decision making skills, with the commercial judgement and resilience to lead teams through change and complex challenges.
