This is not a traditional scheduling role.
We are looking for a commercially minded planner who can combine strong production planning expertise, analytical capability and ERP systems knowledge to help shape the future of planning at True Foods. You will play a key role in our transition from spreadsheet-driven planning processes to a more integrated and data-driven planning environment within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex planning challenges, influencing decisions across the business and driving continuous improvement through better systems, processes and reporting.
About the Role

A key focus of the role will be maximising the capability of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, improving planning disciplines, increasing automation and reducing reliance on manual workarounds and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities

constraints and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain planning master data including lead times, safety stock, planning parameters, routings and other planning settings.
- Develop inventory and capacity plans that support customer service objectives while optimising working capital.
- Analyse trends and business performance data to identify opportunities for improved planning outcomes.
- Present planning recommendations, risks and trade-offs to stakeholders across the business.
- Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment.
- Support the Supply Review and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and standardise planning processes.
- Contribute to future planning capability improvements, including enhanced system utilisation and planning maturity initiatives.
- Develop and maintain planning reports, dashboards and KPI visibility tools
About You You are more than a scheduler.
You are a planner who understands the broader commercial impact of planning decisions and can balance service, cost, inventory and operational efficiency.
You enjoy working with data, solving problems and influencing outcomes across multiple functions.
