Civil Project Manager - Major Infrastructure Projects Brisbane, QLD | Full-Time | Central Queensland Projects | $20M+ Project Experience The Opportunity A leading National Tier 2 civil contractor is continuing its strong growth across Queensland and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the business on a full-time basis.

With an annual turnover exceeding $150M nationally, the company has established an impressive reputation for delivering bespoke and technically challenging civil construction projects across Australia.

Reporting directly to the State Manager, this is a unique opportunity to join the senior leadership team of a growing national contractor and play a key role in both securing and delivering major infrastructure projects across Queensland.

The Role

Initially based from the company's Brisbane headquarters, you will work closely with the Pre-Contracts team, providing your project delivery expertise throughout the tendering and pre-construction phases.

Your Initial Responsibilities Will Include

- Providing project management input throughout the tender process.
- Reviewing project methodologies, construction programs and buildability.
- Assisting with tender submissions, pricing and project planning.
- Identifying construction risks, opportunities and delivery strategies.
- Working collaboratively with the estimating and pre-contracts teams.
- Supporting the business in securing new work across Queensland.

Once projects are secured, the role will transition into a site-based Project Manager position, where you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects valued up to $20M. Projects are predominantly targeted across Central Queensland, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling and working away from home.

You will have the opportunity to work on technically challenging civil infrastructure projects, including:
- Highways and major road infrastructure
- Bridges and structures
- Pipelines
- Dams and associated infrastructure
- Complex civil and bulk earthworks
- Other bespoke infrastructure projects

About You We are looking to speak with experienced civil Project Managers who have:
- 10+ years' experience within the civil construction industry.
- A proven track record delivering projects valued up to $20M+.
- Experience delivering major infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, pipelines, dams or similar.
- Strong commercial, contractual and project management capabilities.
- Previous experience working for a Tier 2 local contractor - essential.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across pre-contracts and project delivery teams.
- A willingness to travel and work away from home on a regular basis.
- A strong understanding of construction methodologies, programming, safety and quality requirements.
