ABOUT THE POSITION DV West is seeking the skills of a Project Manager to work in our Central Office located in Penrith, and from home (flexible/hybrid position) to assist and oversee some exciting projects alongside a dynamic team.
Interviews: This job advertisement will be open for 2 weeks from 16 September 2026 and successful applicants will be contacted shortly after for an interview which will be held on 6 October 2026.
Start Date: The successful applicant will be invited to commence work on 12 October 2026.
Position Location
This is a hybrid position between working from home and at our central office located in Penrith.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Experience and expertise in managing Specialist Domestic & Family Violence Projects
- Demonstrated project management experience including high level written skills
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and to work unsupervised
- Experience and ability to actively contribute to a culturally safe work setting
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and adapt when circumstances change.
- Sense of humour and flexible approach to changing demands
- Demonstrated understanding of policy development processes
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Current NSW drivers’ licence
EMPLOYMENT AS PER SCHADS AWARD Pay range from Level 5 Pay point 3 ($60.63 ph.) per hour plus 12% superannuation and Salary Sacrifice offered.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Confirmation of employment will be subject to candidate's possession of a Current Australian Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check, completed Australian Criminal History Check and provision of COVID-19 vaccination certificate or valid medical exemption, to comply with DV West’s Work Health and Safety requirements.
