Are you an experienced construction professional who thrives on taking projects from tender through to successful completion? We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected commercial construction business to recruit a Project Manager & Estimator to join their growing team. Based in Tasmania, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects while playing a key role in both project delivery and estimating functions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for the estimation and project management of allocated construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
- Review and assess tender opportunities and contractual documentation.
- Develop, implement and manage project work plans.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
- Manage subcontractor engagement, compliance and performance.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee progress claims, variations and project reporting.
- Drive safety,



quality and environmental standards across all projects.
- Mentor and support project team members to achieve successful outcomes.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- 5+ years' experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
- Proven estimating experience across commercial construction projects.
- Strong financial acumen and cost control capability.
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- High-level computer literacy.
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management (desirable).
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card.
